We focus on Roma communities
In the Alfa ministry, we focus on Roma communities in Mediaș and Ighiș, a village near Mediaș. Our vision is to make God known through creative approaches and to make disciples of Jesus.
In everything we do, we desire to be guided by His Word and firmly grounded in who He is in our lives. We long to see disciples become a blessing to their communities and to society as a whole.
We interact with these communities on a weekly basis through
Home visits
We build authentic relationships by visiting families and being present in the context of their daily lives.
Activities with kids
We organize interactive educational and recreational activities where children can learn, grow, and enjoy time together.
Eating together
We create opportunities for connection and fellowship around the table, strengthening relationships within the community.
Fulfilling needs
We seek to respond to the physical and immediate needs of families through practical support and involvement.
TRANSFORMED LIVES
Through these activities, we build healthy relationships and become a practical expression of God’s love among the people.
One meaningful example is the story of a young man who, after being released from prison, chose to leave behind his old lifestyle. Through constant support, discipleship, and encouragement, he experienced real transformation and became involved in serving others.
